Different Children Learn in Different Ways

How XTables Champions combines approaches

The platform does not pick one approach. It offers visual, audio and active routes into every table, and children can move between them.

Visual models and arrays

Some children need to see what multiplication looks like before the numbers make sense. Arrays and visual groupings let them see that 6 × 4 is six groups of four, not just an abstract fact to repeat.

Audio and read-aloud support

Some children process spoken information more easily than written text. Questions read aloud and Champion talking through every step give them an audio route into the same learning without depending on reading.

Games as active application

Some children learn by doing. Games like Connect Four and Snap require them to apply multiplication facts to make moves, which turns passive memorisation into active application.
