The 4 Times Table

Double it, then double it again — that's all!

💡 The Double-Double Trick

4 = 2 × 2. So to multiply by 4, just double the number twice!

4 × 6 = ?6×2=12, ×2=24 ✓
4 × 7 = ?7×2=14, ×2=28 ✓
4 × 9 = ?9×2=18, ×2=36 ✓

All Answers Are Even

Every answer in the 4 times table is even. The last digits follow a pattern: 4, 8, 2, 6, 0 — then repeat!
